Walking Back To Happiness
Bromsgrove’s Walking Hockey Family strolled back in to action last night – Monday 9 September with four new people coming to join us.
Over 20 people played in two groups, those that are very competitive and those who are less so. It was a great session.

The crazy world of Walking Hockey
Today was meant to be a quiet day on the Walking Hockey front. I’m glad to say it’s been anything but.
We have been contacted and in touch with people from Denmark, Australia, Uganda, Kenya, South Africa, the Netherlands and several clubs in the U.K.
It’s brilliant to see the continued growth of and interest in our great sport !

Bedford HC are Walking again !
The new season is on the horizon!!
Bedford Hockey Club‘s hugely successful Walking Hockey returns for the new season. Bedford Hockey Club is a family-friendly club, in Queen’s Park, Bedford
Walking Hockey is low impact, so suitable for a wide age-range, and fantastic when high impact, faster activity is simply unattractive, or too challenging (possibly due to illness or injury). It is, also, a great way for those new, or returning, to hockey to have a go, with a view to moving on to playing mainstream hockey – looking to join the junior or veterans ends of the Club, or one of the 14 senior sides.
Above all, it is great fun, with much laughter, and sessions finish with Tea and Cake in the Club House.
Regular participants can join the Club, as an Associate Member (£55), for open participation in all Walking Hockey sessions throughout the season (to the end of March) or simply turn up and pay-as-they-play (£5 per session).
There are plenty of sticks available to use. Own shin guards recommended, but not essential.
