Welcome to Walking Hockey

Every so often an idea comes along that fits the time, and we believe Walking Hockey is one such idea. Born out of someone wanting to keep playing but finding regular hockey too much, it has really taken off here.

On the website find out how Walking Hockey went from an idea to a reality in a few months and how it is now attracting attention across the hockey World.

We have Walking Hockey photos and videos to share and will let you see how its appeal seems universal, from teenagers to nearly octogenarians!

For starters here’s a short video clip from a recent Walking Hockey session. It’s so good to hear laughter on the pitch.

  1. I can’t wait to see it in Uganda because it units all categories of people with out age difference, skilled, unskilled, experienced, inexperienced, active players, inactive players, but my main concern is more about youth,my age mates who are willingly to play hockey with out any sponsor but it invests in the little they to buy hockey requirements and some time transport for league games, and training for example with my club weather head hockey club the amateur sports club in Uganda which is currently the table leader with five points difference give no transport to players but still most of us attend training and come for league games some time with empty stomach but still play magic hockey, hence walking hockey if introduced will motivate our players who want to go pro and professional,it is with hockey dream foundation and sports way camp which annually invites some of our hard working coach players,I remain EKAPOLON CHARLES goalie for weather head hockey club
